Can you explain the nature of an insurance waiver and can you prepare one for our business?

Sure. An insurance waiver is basically a release form to protect businesses and companies from being sued. The purpose of a waiver is to hold harmless people or companies from liability, or responsibility, especially in situations where physical injury could occur.

Here is an example using inflatable equipment. Let’s say you are renting out an outdoor/ indoor inflatable boxing ring. Even though you have done everything correctly and safely, you cannot be absolutely certain that someone will not get hurt. Therefore, before any two people can use the inflatable equipment, they would be required to sign an insurance waiver (release form). Their signature on a waiver is a legal document saying they are assuming the risk of using the equipment.

We strongly advise that you require insurance waivers to protect you or your business from liability when renting out your indoor/outdoor inflatable equipment.
